King family papers, 1832-1925.

The collection includes two Civil War diaries of Henry C. King which document military activities in Tennessee and Georgia between December 1863 and June 1864. Items pertaining to James King include business and legal papers. Correspondence related to Robert King dates from 1925. Photographs in the collection include family portraits, landscapes, and unidentified soldiers aboard the U.S.S. Texas in 1908. Artifacts in the collection consist of medicine vials, a fan, and a mouth harp.
